About this organisation

At Mulwade, we’re more than an organisation – we’re a family.

We offer a safe haven where you’ll find compassion, understanding, and a listening ear. Whether you’re newly diagnosed or have been living with HIV for years, we’re here to walk beside you on your journey. Our free counselling, support groups, and information resources are designed to empower you, answer your questions, and help you navigate the complexities of living with HIV.

We believe that everyone deserves to live a fulfilling life, free from stigma and fear. That’s why we’re dedicated to not just helping you survive, but to truly thrive. We raise awareness about the realities of HIV, challenge misconceptions, and work tirelessly to build a more inclusive and supportive community for all.

HIV awareness is fundamental to the Mulwade Foundation’s mission. Through education and guidance, we empower individuals living with HIV.

By raising awareness, we challenge the stigma surrounding the virus and foster inclusive communities.

This education allows people to make informed decisions about their health and well-being. With this support, individuals living with HIV can get their lives back.

The Mulwade Foundation fosters community by creating a safe space for individuals living with HIV.

We believe a strong community is key to positive change. We achieve this by breaking down stigma and embracing diversity. We go beyond just assisting individuals – we empower them to thrive alongside others facing similar challenges. This fosters a sense of belonging and connection, building a community where everyone feels valued and respected.

Living with HIV is no longer the life sentence it once was. Thanks to a focus on Support, Education and Guidance, the world is witnessing positive changes.

The Mulwade Foundation provide a supportive environment and essential knowledge for individuals living with HIV. This empowers them to take charge of their health and live fulfilling lives.

HIV can take a toll on mental health. That’s why we prioritise Support, Education, and Guidance in our mission. We understand the challenges you face, and we’re here to help.

Through support groups, educational resources, and professional guidance, we empower individuals to manage their mental well-being alongside their physical health. Our aim is to see you reclaim your life and live fully
