About this organisation
I offer individual and group therapy, with a specialist focus on Gender, Sexuality, and Relationship Diversity (GSRD).
I believe it is essential to approach our work through an intersectional lens. When we fail to recognize the full range of a client’s intersecting identities, we risk not truly seeing or understanding them. As someone who is neurodivergent, of mixed race, and has a trans history, I deeply understand how these aspects of identity are not separate from who we are, but rather fundamental to how we experience and navigate the world.
I am trained in an integrative approach, drawing from a range of therapeutic modalities including person-centred and psychodynamic frameworks. While my training informs my work, I avoid using technical jargon in sessions and prioritise a relational approach. I believe the therapeutic relationship is the most important element of therapy, so I focus on building trust and getting to know each client as a unique individual.
Starting therapy can feel daunting, especially when speaking with someone new. I aim to create a space where clients feel safe and supported. My practice is generally client-led, meaning we focus on the issues and areas you wish to explore. That said, I understand this can sometimes feel overwhelming, so we can work collaboratively to find the structure and approach that feels right for you.
I work through an intersectional lens, considering how different aspects of your identity—whether privileged, marginalised, or somewhere in between—shape your lived experiences and impact your mental health and wellbeing.
I offer both short- and long-term therapy, and we will work at a pace that feels comfortable for you. Sessions are available in either 50-minute or 80-minute formats.
